Logistics

We serve an area surrounding Smithers that extends west along Highway 16 to Terrace and east to Burns Lake. We also serve the entire Highway 37 corridor.

We have three of our own temperature-controlled trucks that serve Smithers and along highway 16. We partner with third party carriers for outlying areas including the highway 37 corridor and the Nisga highway. Freight into the highway 37 corridor requires that the customer pay freight charges associated with serving this area. Contact us for details.

Mining Camps and Lodges

We have been serving mining camps and the resort lodge community for several decades now. At BVW we pride ourselves in the relationships we foster with the chefs and camp operators in these often-remote locations. Our geographic location in northwest BC enables us to better meet the needs of area camps by offering the most competitive overall pricing available to the area. Our order desk team members strive to have a clear understanding of the individual needs of each customer and this has become one of our leading strengths. In many cases this also includes sourcing unusual food and non-food products that come as requests from individuals at the customer’s site location. These items are cross-docked as an added service.

For those stores located outside the service areas of traditional DSD vendors, we offer competitive selection and pricing on Christie, Coke, Pepsi, Hostess, Old Dutch, Frito Lays, Dairyland and Weston Bakery products.

How to become a Customer?

To get started simply contact us to speak directly to our order desk or the General Manager. We can then assess further how Bulkley Valley Wholesale can serve you. We will answer any questions that might help you to make the right business decisions for you and your company.

Once you have selected Bulkley Valley Wholesale as a supplier for your food service or grocery store needs we will then forward you our credit application. Within one to two business days you will be set up for web ordering if you choose or an order guide can be forwarded to you if you desire.

Our order fill rates are high among the wholesale industry averaging over 96% fill rates.
